HomLyst is a shopping list app. Core list-making, editing, and offline use don't require an account. Some features — sharing a list with another HomLyst user, receiving push notifications, and AI-generated shopping suggestions — need an internet connection and, for sharing, a name and/or phone number you choose to provide (see the Privacy Notice for details).
HomLyst is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher). By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement.
Shopping lists, item names, event names, and anything else you type into HomLyst are yours. You're responsible for what you enter and what you share with others — don't use the app to create or share content that's illegal, abusive, or infringes someone else's rights. If you share a list with another person, that content becomes visible to them; use the sharing feature only with people you intend to share it with.
The AI-generated shopping list feature uses a third-party AI model to suggest items based on what you describe. These suggestions are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not suited to your specific needs (dietary restrictions, allergies, local product availability, etc.). Always review AI-generated suggestions yourself before shopping. HomLyst does not provide medical, dietary, or nutritional advice, and AI suggestions should not be treated as such.
Item prices you enter are for your own personal tracking — HomLyst does not verify them against real store prices, and they may become out of date. Pre-loaded category and item catalogs are provided for convenience and may not perfectly match products available in your specific area or store.
HomLyst uses third-party services to operate — including Google AdMob (advertising), a third-party AI provider (for AI-generated suggestions), and cloud hosting/database providers (for the sharing feature). Your use of features that rely on these services is also subject to those providers' own terms. See the Privacy Notice for the full list.
HomLyst is provided by an individual developer, not a company with a dedicated support team or uptime guarantee. Features — including the sharing feature, AI suggestions, and any server-dependent functionality — may be modified, limited, or discontinued at any time, with or without notice, for reasons including cost, abuse prevention, or third-party service changes.
Some features may in the future be offered as paid or premium features. If and when that happens, pricing and what's included will be clearly shown in the app before you're asked to pay, and normal Google Play / Apple App Store billing and refund policies will apply.
HomLyst is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. You use the app, its AI suggestions, and its sharing feature at your own discretion.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer of HomLyst is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app — including but not limited to shopping decisions made based on AI suggestions, lost list data, or issues arising from third-party services the app relies on.
You can stop using HomLyst at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or restrict access to server-dependent features (such as sharing) for accounts or devices found to be abusing the service, including excessive automated requests.
These terms may be updated from time to time as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your own country of residence.
